New Year, Same Challenges

Hello. It’s me!!

You’d think if Dad were going to take a picture of me he would have the common courtesy to not cut off my hind quarters, #amirite?

It’s a new year, 2019 or so I am told. But it’s all about the same old challenges.

First off, I’m not getting enough food, food like this (from Christmas Eve):

And worse, the threats are real, and they are plentiful. This little dude has inflamed taste buds covering his entire body.

And I have no idea whatsoever what’s going on here.

Dad removed our outdoor Christmas decorations. Turns out it take a few extension cords to run the operation.

Temperatures are improving … we finally got into the 60s today, which allowed us to reinstate a time-honored tradition … the golf cart ride.

May your new year be threat-free,  filled with duck jerky and crunchables.

  1. So, if I read you right… life is mostly good, then there’s Christmas, through which and beyond, life is mostly good… amiright? Yes, your tail if fluffy and beautiful; yes there are times when all tasty things do not reach your mouth, and yes there are days when golf carts aren’t in the picture… yeah, those character building things… but mostly good is pretty good, don’tchathink?

  2. Dash you are ADORABLE!!! I love that cute little face!! Happy New Year to you and to Mom and Dad! Yes, I know how it is about all those Holiday goodies……No more goodies for me either now in the New Year!

  3. Sounds like the perpetual diet thing is in place again. Duck jerky huh?? Believe it or not–mom and dad ARE taking good care of you by not letting you eat everything you want. They want you to be around for a lot more golf cart rides.
Sorry about the cool weather–it is 42 and high winds expected here today. So–enjoy your good fortune. Auntie Janet Not much sympathy huh?
